This time we’re going to talk about a high-end villa complex project by a large Australian construction company. In Australian villa design, garage doors are not only functional components but also a core highlight of the entire building’s facade design.

In this project, the project manager told us anxiously, “We previously contacted several suppliers, and the wood grain samples they sent were a disaster.”

Physical sample color matching: Instead of just looking at photos, we had the client send us samples of their on-site wood materials. Based on the actual samples, our colorists conducted 1:1 custom color matching and adjustment of the wood grain film.

Multiple rounds of light testing: Considering the intensity of sunlight in Australia, we simulated the color rendering effect under strong outdoor light to ensure that the wood grain remained natural and textured in the sunlight, eliminating that “plastic reflective feel.”

Overall process upgrade: In addition to color, we reinforced the splicing process of the slats to ensure that while maintaining aesthetics, it met Australia’s high standards for wind resistance and durability.

When the final customized samples arrived in Australia, the client immediately emailed us: “This is the color we’ve been looking for!” Ultimately, this batch of custom wood-grain batten garage doors perfectly integrated into the villa complex, becoming a beautiful feature of the community.
