Xtrametal modular building project engineering showcase
XtraMetal has been in metal product manufacturing for 32 years and we have encountered all kinds of problems, here are the most important concerns of our customers before closing the deal.
Proper installation requires a load-bearing structural assessment and secure mounting surfaces. Key steps:
1. Verify wall/ceiling load capacity (min. 150 lbs/sq.ft for cantilever models).
2. Align motorized louver blades parallel to ensure 0-165° smooth adjustment.
3. Install waterproof conduit for wiring (IP65-rated components recommended).
*Note:* Incorrect slope alignment may cause water pooling. Always integrate drainage channels in humid climates.
Performance Data: Certified wind resistance: Up to 62mph (Beaufort Scale 10); Auto – close threshold: Activates at 45mph wind sensors; Reinforcement Option: Steel cable bracing adds 22% wind load capacity. Failure Prevention: Avoid operation when ice accumulation exceeds 3mm on louvers.
We primarily use 6063-T5 and other high-grade alloys, selected for their strength, durability, and suitability for architectural applications.
